I’ve been playing piano since the age of eight, working my way through the classical grades and building a strong foundation in technique and discipline. But beyond the exams, my heart was always in the music I grew up loving R&B, Hip-Hop,

You might have come across names like Karan on Piano or Royal Keys, both amazing in their own right. But there are very few female pianists, and even fewer who bring my unique mix of genres to the keys, from R&B to Afrobeats, Bollywood and beyond.
Being a woman at the keys gives my performances a different energy, elegant attentive, and full of personality. I love reading the room and shaping the vibe.

My Dad (Ashok Prema) is also a musician, so I like to think the love of music runs in my genes. From a young age, it never felt like just a hobby, it’s something that’s always lived within me.

Building My Piano Shell
One of the most special parts of my setup is that my piano shell was hand-built by me and my Dad, completely from scratch.
What started as a simple idea quickly turned into one of the most fun projects we’ve done together. We built it so It fits perfectly in my car, and it’s super quick to set up for any event. But more than that, it’s a piece that carries real meaning for me. Every time I perform, I’m reminded of the time, care, and creativity we put into building it together.

We booked Selina for our wedding & she was absolutely amazing! She is so talented and played some of our favourite R&B & Afrobeats songs which our guests loved! Selina travelled a long way to get to us but we had no worries or doubts as her communication was great and all went really smoothly.
